Aside from images and memorabilia, videos are now great methods to document an event. This is the very reason why wedding videos are now part of the ceremony.
Videos are a series of images compiled in a thousand frames. It is recorded with sound. Unlike still images, videos taken in a wedding are better reminders of the events that transpired during that special day. Many people now prefer videos over pictures. This is obviously because videos do a better job of reliving the occasion.
Many companies offer video recording for weddings. The good thing about these companies is that they come in complete equipment when doing their coverage. High-definition cameras, tripods, tapes and lighting equipments are brought along by the crew.
The wedding coverage initially begins by a pre-production briefing. The team leader of the camera crew would have a meeting with the wedding coordinator and the couple for the briefing. At this stage, the basic details such as the date, venue and the events are discussed. The preference of the couple and other related instructions are also given during the briefing stage.
After the pre-production briefing, the team leader will give instructions to the crew. If possible, an ocular will be conducted so that the team would know what to expect during the event. This is important as the ocular can help them prepare for the possible issues that may arise. For example, they may want to see if the lighting is sufficient or deficient or will there be enough space for long shots.
There are instances where the couple would want to include the preparations in their wedding videos. The duty of the team begins even before the actual event starts.
On the big event, the whole team would be in their assigned places in order to properly capture the entire event. At first, the entire ceremony will be captured. This includes the time the entrance of the bride, the exchange of vows and rings and the moment they kiss. These are the precious moments that the couple would want to look back twenty years later.
As the wedding ends, the next task of the crew is to capture the wedding reception. The important events in the reception can include the toasts and speeches that the important guests give and other traditional practices done during the wedding (throwing of the bouquet and garter, cutting of the cake etc.)
Wedding videos are produced after the raw videos are edited and rendered. Capturing the wedding in a video is definitely a great way to remember a special day.
To your beautiful wedding!
