Unity candles symbolize the light that will guide the couple as they journey into the married life together. The cords symbolize the union of two souls, making them inseparable forever. Arras is a wedding accessory not commonly used in wedding ceremonies. It is a symbol of wealth and prosperity. It also represents the role of the husband as the bread winner of his family.
